Bodegas Maset has launched the new Maset Rioja winery in the town of Lapuebla de Labarca, which lies in the heart of province Rioja Alavesa. It is known as the most prestigious winemaking areas of Rioja.
In 2012 the project starts to develop and its highlight was the production of the first wine in fall 2016. Two thousand square meters of cellars, make it possible to store 400 French oak barrels to mature the wine in. From the beginning Bodegas Maset has always deployed for research, development and innovation as an important factor for improving their products. The continuous reminder of these 3 aspects during vinification guarantees a good quality. Quality above all is their motto. The whole process is carefully analysed until the wine is ready.
Around the area we find 30 hectares of vineyards which are owned by Maset Rioja. The vines have a low yield with excellent quality. The grapes are grown durable, in harmony with nature and manually harvested to make sure only the best grapes are selected. To guarantee a constant and high quality, the vineyards are regularly evaluated.
