The growers and Field Team grow more conscious about the environment every year and work on a less aggressive way of winemaking in the vineyards. The commitment is to make wines with respect for the environment. The pesticides got replaced by pheromones, they don’t interfere with the natural course of things in order to let the natural herbs grow freely and to provide a perfect habitat for animals. It means that step by step Covinca is moving to a much more Vine Oriented Winery.The Terrai comes from vines that are over 30 years old and Covinca has over 100 hectares of them.
