Although this is still quite reserved on the nose, there’s a lovely fresh-apricot aroma, plus notes of angelica and preserved ginger. In spite of the high-acidity vintage, this is a rich and mouth-filling dry riesling, in which you have to hunt for anything tart. Very long, ripe and juicy finish with a lot of subtle, rooty notes. Drink or hold.
