BedrukteFles.nl originated from a previously established company. Jeroen explains: "Seven years ago we started De Wijnzaak, a specialty wine store and wholesaler, especially for the B2B market. We provide tastings, masterclasses, and wine courses, among other things. Based on that expertise and experience, we began BedrukteFles.nl. First, before a bottle undergoes its transformation, a design for the sleeve design is made. The customer can deliver the design himself or have it made (free of charge) by the designers at BedrukteFles.nl. After the design has been approved, the foil is printed digitally (small runs) or in UV flexo (large runs).

BedrukteFles.nl ensures that the sleeves wrap around the bottles using a steam process. For this process their own machine was purchased. A boiler and steam engine are also connected to the sleeve machine. The sleeve is pulled around the bottle with the addition of steam at a temperature of 80 degrees. It is important to set everything correctly, so the sleeve fits perfectly around the bottle. However, the product must not be exposed to high temperatures and large temperature fluctuations since wine is sensitive to that. If a bottle has passed through our machine, the temperature of the bottle has only increased by one degree. 

After sleeving, a color capsule is placed at the top of the bottle. Our customers can choose from ten different colors. The choice depends on the design and color of the bottle. If a customer would like a different color, we will arrange that. We have a regular supplier from Germany for our capsules. When a bottle is entirely ready, BedrukteFles.nl also takes care of the delivery.
