Cantina Tramin – Amazing as always!
Cantina Tramin is one of the oldest wineries in South Tyrol - Alto Adige. The Tramin cooperative has a very modern winery that was put into operation in 2010. Cantina Tramin makes a wide range of wines at multiple quality levels.

With so many wines, you would expect that there would also be lesser wines, but nothing could be further from the truth. Several wines are awarded each year, and why would this year be any different. The Cantina Tramin, Unterebner Pinot Grigio, 2020, has received a score of 95 points from Decanter. Winemaker Willi Stürz makes beautiful Pinot Grigios, just look at his Unterebner 2020. The malolactic fermentation takes place in tonneaux, resulting in buttery flavours. It is a ripe, round and perfumed wine bursting with fruit.
The renowned wine critic Luca Gardini also praises Cantina Tramin. Luca Gardini is also known as the Wine Killer because he is unbeatable when it comes to blind tastings. In his most recent article, he shared his top 10 best wines he ever drank. In this top 10 he also included Troy Chardonnay Riserva from Cantina Tramin.
